Character Appearance and Personality: Silver hair and gray eyes, his skin is covered in ritualistic tattoos that stretch from his chin to his chest and arms. He is 6'4" tall and he wears silver armor with a stylized helm along with a tunic with a red diamond for his symbol, his shield also bearing the mark of the diamond. 

He prefers to be the shield that stands between monsters and the innocent, as he has always aspired to be a model knight and paladin. He can come off as self-righteous as a result, and while he can be polite to those he dislikes, his words become thin as he hides his true feelings. Although there have been times when even his veneer of politeness has broken and he has let his far more abrasive thoughts be spoken aloud.

Character History:  It was 109 years ago that Marius was born to a middle-class family, but they did their best to give him the best life they could, as he was the only child. It was during his formative years that his life was set on its current path. At that time in his life, he had been out playing with his friends when a dragonling had appeared out of nowhere, and stared at them hungrily. Naturally all of them were terrified, but it was right when they thought their lives were going to end that a literal knight in shining armor appeared, and fought the monster off. Even when it tried to go around him, the knight interceded, halting the dragonling's attempts in their tracks.

It was at that moment that Marius decided he wanted to be just like that knight, and while he never saw the warrior again, he trained from that point on to become a knight, chivalrous in action and deed. Of course, his social life suffered because of that decision, and while he might have liked to think otherwise, his friends weren't as supportive of his choice. They had felt that while the goal was admirable, he shouldn't stop having fun while trying to pursue it. Especially when he had centuries of life ahead of him.

When he hit 50 he set out from his hometown with a set of silver armor and his sword and shield, emblazoned with the diamond that had become his self-chosen symbol. Over the next 59 years he traveled far and wide, doing what he could to help people he saw in trouble. He would stop several monsters along the way from attacking settlements over the years, and as time passed, his experiences shaped him into a better fighter and a better knight. Although the events of recent years has troubled him enough to get involved himself.
